A Mid West Movement

The Mid West is full of creatives.

They just haven't been connected yet.

Midwest Creative Cartel is building a stronger creative economy through connection, capability and collaboration.

Why this exists

The Mid West is changing.

As tourism, business, industry and investment continue to grow, the need for skilled local creatives has never been greater.

Yet our creative community remains fragmented, under-represented and under-resourced.

We're here to change that.

Midwest Creative Cartel exists to bring together the filmmakers, photographers, designers, marketers, writers, makers and storytellers shaping the future of our region.

Who this is for

The right people, the right place.

This is for you if

  • Your work lives on screens, feeds, timelines and websites — design, video, photo, audio, web, social, marketing, AI, automation or software.
  • You're a freelancer, studio owner, contractor or creative business operator in the Mid West WA.
  • You want to share work, get feedback, find collaborators and win projects together.

This is not for you if

  • You work in traditional visual arts (e.g. painters, sculptors) — this is a digital creative network.
  • You're based outside the Mid West WA and have no regional connection.
  • You're just here to promote or extract value without giving back.
The Creative Collective

How we build the Cartel.

01

Strength in Numbers

One creative voice is good. A chorus is impossible to ignore. By pooling our skills, reach and resources, we open doors no one can open alone.

02

Community

Real relationships, not just contacts. We share knowledge, gigs, feedback and the kind of support that makes regional creative work sustainable.

03

Association

A recognised collective raises the bar. Members gain shared credibility, industry standards and the weight of a unified creative network.

Creative infrastructure

Creativity isn't a nice to have.
It's infrastructure.

It's how places build identity. How businesses grow. How regions attract opportunity.
